For the third time in four years, the New England Patriots are champions, defeating the Eagles 24-21 in SuperBowl XXXIX, to join the ranks of NFL dynasties.

the Pittsburgh Steelers of the 1970s, the San Francisco 49ers of the 1980s and the Dallas Cowboys of the 1990s have company. Now the New England Patriots of the 2000s marked in the history book for new millennium!

FF2K4 NEWS

Phew... It's over: You know, the NFL, even FF2K4 season seem to get a little longer every year. That's because this business is becoming year-round, just like the sport. You will see my website next season and it will be apparent: I'll be working on a new templates for homepage, rankings, records and statistics and some cool features for the next FF2K5 season coming up this fall.

The Heroes: Surprisingly, check out on the site the page which I check an overall records, generally the greater number of wins and the lesser number of losses and MVPs and busts. In this season full of terrific players' comebacks, I chose Cherish as the best. The argument can be made that Cherish was the best player, but you can also choose Kati (second best overall for records) or Marie or Connie ... really, there are some options. Cherish finished the season with 169 correct picks, thanks to Patriots' interception in the final seconds Sunday night, as No. 1 player in fantasy for the season. It's incredible how Kati went from overlooked due to her uncompleted picks and the so-called, but never proven, record-tying tandem with Cherish, to this. Cherish immediately showed us the change. Instead of simply correcting her picks - and coughing it up more than any other player this year - Cherish proudly lifted her arms higher. She didn't give up until Super Bowl XXXIX ends. That's incredible. She went from the most luckiest player to arguably the stingiest, losing some games all season, both in the same game against a top player in Ladies' conference. Also, she went from record-tying dwindled to one more game to win her first FF2K4 champions. That's pretty amazing, too. There are those who say this was a career year for Cherish, Kati and other "rookie" players. Can they do it again? Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't see why not as long as their situations don't change, which will be the case for the next FF2K5 season.

The Zeroes: I chose Bak and Natty as the bust of the year, in part for their miserable records, but also because I read their minds saying that they was NOT a bust, which in a roundabout way means they KNEW they were rookies, but enjoyed it anyway.

Cash Prize Winners:

Marie won two games and best combination points scored on X-mas Day and gets $25.

Cherish and Kati won $15 apiece for most Monday Night Football won, with a total of 11 wins.

Cherish won FF2K4 champions and gets $100 based on the best records, with a total of 169 wins and 98 losses.

Kati placed 2nd and gets $50 based on the second best records, with a total of 168 wins and 96 losses.

Marie placed 3rd and gets $25 based on the third best records, with a total of 163 wins and 101 losses.

Congratulations players! you ladies derserve it.  :o]

I would like to thanks to you and the entire Fantasy Footballers for a fun season. I'll look forward to playing with you all players again next season!
